CBA Darling Square.

Commonwealth Bank are the sole tenant of this nextgeneration office building, situated in the heart of Sydney’s expanding media, knowledge, digital and creative precinct at Darling Square.

Completed in late 2017, this campus-style office has achieved a 6 Star Green Star design rating and targets a 5 Star NABERS energy rating.

The project employs TROX type PKV passive chilled beams and VDW ceiling swirl diffusers in the centre office zones, and TROX type DID532 active chilled beams in perimeter office zones. The 500mm-wide DID532 was developed specifically for the project to integrate with the selected ceiling module and achieves class-leading performance for this product width.

The interaction between the active and passive chilled beams and the ceiling swirls was critical to achieving the class-leading comfort levels sought on this presigous project. Extensive project testing was carried out at TROX HQ testing facilities in Germany and the perimeter beams were selected with asymmetric air delivery so that environmental comfort and well-being was maximised.
