ACS are experts in the design, supply, and application of chilled beam and radiant cooling systems and have worked on many high-profile Australian projects since 2002.
Chilled beams are becoming increasingly popular due to their efficient operation, superior comfort, system longevity and environmental credentials. Furthermore, these systems generally require less outside air, translating to smaller risers and associated plant and hence releasing significant areas of NLA to the benefit of the project.
TROX Technik Active & Passive Chilled Beams
TROX DID642 ACTIVE Chilled Beam
Shallow-depth active chilled beam for heating and cooling, with 2-pipe or 4-pipe heat exchanger, for integration with various ceiling systems, 0.6m wide module.
- TROX beams are proven in the Australian market since 2004
- Latest-generation TROX active chilled beam
- Engineered in Germany and built in Malaysia for the Australian market
- High cooling and heating capacity with a low primary air volume
- Just 170mm deep (182mm deep with internal plenum insulation)
- Factory-set nozzle arrangements to deliver required primary air rate at specified static pressure
- Optimised nozzle design for super-quiet operation
- Factory-fitted condensation sensors can be provided
- Hinged, removable underplate with gradient perforation design
- Hygienic design suitable for healthcare applications.
- Can be configured for up to 50% “turndown” with lineal capacity relationship

TROX DID532 ACTIVE Chilled Beam
Shallow-depth active chilled beam for heating and cooling, with 2-pipe or 4-pipe heat exchanger, for integration with various ceiling systems, 0.5m wide module.
- Utilised on a number of large Australian projects where 0.5m module is preferred
- Engineered in Germany and built in Malaysia for the Australian market
- High cooling and heating capacity with a low primary air volume
- Just 210mm deep (222mm deep with internal plenum insulation)
- Factory-set nozzle arrangements to deliver required primary air rate at specified static pressure
- Optimised nozzle design for super-quiet operation
- Factory-fitted condensation sensors can be provided
- Hinged, removable underplate with gradient perforation design
- Hygienic design suitable for healthcare applications.

TROX DID-F ‘Exposed’ ACTIVE Chilled Beam
Top-discharge active chilled beam for freely suspending from the soffit.
- For ‘exposed’ applications where the beams are to be freely suspended from the slab with no adjacent ceiling system
- Engineered in Germany and built in Malaysia for the Australian market
- Supply air is discharged from the top of the unit for optimum efficiency
- Compact construction, just 400mm wide and 221mm-296mm deep
- Can be provided with ‘dummy’ sections to conceal air/water connections and to create linear aesthetic
- Optimised nozzle design for super-quiet operation
- Factory-fitted condensation sensors can be provided
- ½” BSP male pipe connections

- No noise generated by the product
- 3 standard widths (0.3m, 0.5m and 0.6m) and 3 standard heights (110mm, 200mm and 300mm)
- Lengths up to 3m
- Offered with or without perforated underplate
- Casing and coil can be painted to standard Ral finishes
- ½” BSP male pipe connections, horizontal or vertical

Lindab CARAT Radiant Chilled Beam
High-capacity radiant passive chilled beam in a number of length and width combinations, for freely suspending from the soffit or for installation above a perforated metal ceiling system.
- LINDAB beams are proven in the Australian market since 2002
- 35% radiant cooling with high cooling capacity and excellent comfort
