Fabric Diffusion Products

Australia’s market-leading supply partner for Fabric Diffusion products.

FabricAir Fabric Diffusion Systems

The advantages of fabric diffusion ‘duct’ systems for heating, cooling & ventilation are many: they provide draught-free, noiseless air distribution and superior air quality with no condensation risk. They are lightweight, simple and quick to install, and extremely cost effective when compared to conventional metal spiral ducting. They are available in several different shapes and colours to suit architectural preferences and can even include corporate branding/advertising.

ACS’s exclusive relationship with the market-leading European manufacturer FabricAir dates to 2002, and since then we’ve developed extensive experience and knowledge of the application of these systems into a wide variety of Australian applications.

Food Storage and Preparation Facilities

Hygiene is crucial in food preparation and storage facilities, and the fact that fabric systems can be changed-out and laundered means that it is often the obvious choice for these exacting environments. Furthermore, where relatively cold supply-air temperatures are required, fabric dispersion systems do not attract condensation or resultant bacterial growth, which is essential for food preparation environments. ACS can advise on the most appropriate suspension method and maintenance regime, ensuring that the highest levels of duct cleanliness can be achieved.

Corrosion-resistant

Fabric does not rust, thus eliminating the risk of corrosion

Hygienic operation

Antimicrobial fabrics eliminate health  risks, and ducts are easily washable

Long lifespan

Proven durability over decades

Sports Facilities

ACS has supplied in excess of 100 aquatic centres around Australia and New Zealand; fabric dispersion systems are the perfect solution in these often corrosive and high-humidity environments.  Basketball stadiums and gymnasiums are also very good applications, and while less common, fabric ducts are perfect for ice rinks. These facilities often feature high ceilings, and flow analysis is undertaken to ensure optimum positioning of the discharge nozzles (usually NozzFlow in this instance).

Impact Resistant

Ducts are flexible and can retain their shape even after accidental impact

High Indoor Air Quality

Flow analysis ensures optimal and draught-free conditions

Retail

Woolworths, Spotlight, Anaconda, Coles, Sydney Tools and Dan Murphy’s are some of the retail chains that are utilising fabric diffusion, with the wide range of colour options and branding opportunities proving popular. Our All-in one suspension methods assist in the system maintaining an ‘inflated’ appearance while also allowing for quick and efficient installation.

Laboratories

Laboratories—including fume cupboard make-up – often require the introduction of large air volumes of air, whilst maintaining exacting temperature distribution and a draught-free environment. ACS work with FabricAir to develop flow analysis to identify the ideal solution, whilst CAD can be supplied to ensure trouble-free co-ordination with other services.

Industrial

Warehouses and distribution centres are increasingly requiring temperature control, not just for employee comfort but also to maintain products being stored, and to keep conditions within a range that is optimum for automated picking equipment and other machines. While the fabric itself is permeable, air flow can be targeted where high heat generating equipment is located. Drawings are supplied with each piece of fabric having an individual piece number that assist in a rapid and trouble-free installation.
