ACS are experts in the design, supply, and application of radiant cooling systems and have worked on many high-profile Australian projects since 2002.

Radiant cooling offers unrivalled levels of occupant comfort, due to the fact that much of the cooling is provided via direct radiant exchange. This type of energy transfer does not generate localised recirculating air currents—that could cause draughts and discomfort —and has the added benefit that occupants feel cooler for the same air temperature, with the possibility to save energy by increasing room temperature set-points.

The latest generation of radiant beams and panels  from Lindab offer a very compelling combination of lightweight construction and high cooling capacities. ACS have worked with Lindab to develop an approach that has proven very successful on numerous  Australian commercial projects, with examples being in constant operation for 20 years or more.

LINDAB Radiant Cooling Systems

Lindab CARAT Radiant Chilled Beam

High-capacity radiant passive chilled beam in a number of length and width combinations, for freely suspending from the soffit or for installation above a perforated metal ceiling system.

  • LINDAB beams are proven in the Australian market since 2002
  • 35% radiant cooling with high cooling capacity and excellent comfort
  • Unique aluminium-copper ‘sandwich’ construction ensures class-leading heat transfer
  • Just 147mm deep, widths up to 840mm and lengths up to 5.8m
