ACS is thrilled to have received orders for the supply of TROX Active Chilled Beams (ACB) for two significant projects being constructed in Sydney CBD; 55 Pitt Street and Harbourside.
ACS has completed 6-weeks of project-specific testing at Lindab’s thermal assessment laboratories in Denmark to the satisfaction of the design team.
Project-specific testing has been completed at TROX laboratory in Malaysia, proving that – with appropriate mitigation strategies in place – TROX Active Chilled Beams (ACB’s) can operate effectively in buildings with operable facades.
Having supplied more than 3200 TROX active chilled beams to this striking project in Sydney’s CBD, the building has received two highly prestigious international awards; World Building of the Year 2022, and World’s Best Skyscraper 2022.
We have just completed the supply of 1700 TROX active chilled beams to Circular Quay Tower (CQT, also known as Salesforce Tower or 180 George Street), Sydney’s tallest commercial tower at 261m.
We are proud to have worked with our supply partners TROX and LINDAB to demonstrate that chilled beam technologies are the right solution for three premium-grade offices above the Martin Place metro station in Sydney. This area of the CBD now showcases Active, Passive and Radiant chilled beam designs.
Lindab—our supply partner for radiant cooling systems— is committed to sustainability, and is supplying the 3000 pieces of Carat radiant beams to the Metro Martin Place project ‘Carbon Neutral’. This is a first for the Australian market.
In line with their sustainability initiative “For a Better Climate”, our supply partner LINDAB has now secured an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for their range of Carat radiant cooling and heating systems.
